A little late, but it has been a busy month of moving into a different place so we are just getting to writing about their fifth month of life.
Their hair is starting to grow more, although they are still pretty bald.
The more the hair grows the more we see how light it is. These girls did not get their moms dark hair, that is for sure!
We separated the girls into two cribs this month. I was a little sad to see them be separated cause they have never slept apart, not even in the hospital. But it has been a good change and they have been sleeping better this way.
We got an SUV to accommodate all the extra baggage that comes
with having two babies. Although I had to be coaxed into buying a new car, the extra room has been wonderful and it has been a much needed change.
Each day brings more laughs and the girls continue to amaze us with their polar opposite personalities. We got a sweet and we got a sassy. It is so much fun!
-This little girl likes her space. When she is fussy we will hold, cuddle and love all we can to try and make her happy but she still seems unsettled. We finally figured out all we have to do is go put her in her bed with her blanket and binky and she will sprawl out and make herself comfortable.
-Rolls over like a champ. Front to back and back to front.
-Hates being on her tummy.
-Loves rice cereal but loves her milk even more
-Chews on everything in sight. No sign of teeth yet.
-More interested in toys than Clara is. Bree likes playing with toys, Clara likes playing with people.
-A lot less stubborn with her smiles now. We are loving this wide, open mouth smile she has going on.
-Clara does not like her space, she would be happy if we held her all day long.
-This girl loves to be cuddled. Starting at 5 months, she would wake up in the middle of the night and the only way she would settle down is for me to cuddle her back to sleep.
-As I said above, she is less interested in toys but very interested in playing with people. Give her a toy and she is focused for a few seconds but put her in anybodies arms and she will play for hours.
-Loves rice cereal
-Continues to have the highest pitch squeal around. She really likes to practice her high pitched scream when she is getting tired at night. The only thing that seems to stop it is if dad rocks her to sleep.
-She is our little night owl, just like her mom. She like to party all night and sleep in the mornings! It was inevitable that I would get a baby the loved nights. :)
-Rolling over but doesn't do it a lot
