One Month

Calm and laid back personality. Her sister can be screaming in her ear, and
she doesn't make a peep.

She is always making funny faces that make it hard for us to get
good pictures. She loves her tongue and is always sticking it out to show us.

Wakes up every 3 hours on the dot for her food. She gets so
excited and is knows when that burp cloth hits her chest it
is time to chow down.

LOVES her binky and makes an extremely loud "nom nom nom" sound when she sucks
and is hungry. It doesn't matter if it is 3am and I'm exhausted, I laugh so hard every time she does it.

Hates her bath. Cries every time.

Doesn't have much hair, but it is looking like it is going to be dark. Everyone says she
looks like her mommy. Mommy agrees:)

Has a fiery personality and knows what she wants. The nurses in the hospital
said they could see this too.

Wakes up every 3 hours for her bottle and eats it all up every time.

Very sweet and feminine. Always has her hands placed ever so perfect
on her face.

First one to start getting those chubby little cheeks.
I could kiss them all day long.

Doctor found heart murmur at 4 weeks old. We were so worried but we got her into a cardiologist a few days later and he said that it will heal itself and it is nothing to worry about.

Has an extremely high pitched cry - oh my, it is loud!

We Are Home

I have been horrible at updating my blog since the girls were born, but wanted to write a quick update. Because the girls were born early at 34 weeks, they needed to stay in the hospital for about 20 days to gain some weight and learn how to eat. They both gained about a pound and a half up from their birth weight and are now at a whopping 5 1/2 pounds! I know it doesn't sound like a lot but to us it seems like a million pounds because of how closely their weight was monitored day by day in the hospital. We were able to come home a few days ago and it has been wonderful! It is great to have their feeding tubes out and not have all the monitor wires hooked up to them any more, but most of all it is nice to feel like we are now real parents and they are actually ours. It has definitely been an adjustment juggling two babies in the middle of the night, but it hasn't been as crazy as I anticipated. I'm sure it will get crazier:)

I will update more a little later about the delivery and our stay in the hospital, but wanted to post a few pictures of the girls since they have been home. They change so much every day! We love them to pieces.
