Rick's Trip
Washington D.C. is a place Rick and I have always wanted to visit. Lucky for him, business called him out there this week and he was able to go! Since I couldn't be there with him and he was going out alone, I gave him a talk about how he had to get pictures with him standing in front of the monuments. This meant he would have to ask a stranger to take his picture. Not Rick's thing AT ALL. Rick hates taking pictures, I'm obsessed with taking pictures.
I got the camera all ready for him to go on his trip and honestly I was not in high hopes that he would come home with his face in any of the pictures. When he got home, he happily loaded the pictures on the computer for me to see. He did good. He made me so happy! He had a really good time and loved it in Washington D.C. We are hoping to make it out there someday together.

Two Months
My how time is flying. We love our little girls more every day.
The past two months have brought more joy than we ever
thought possible.
With this great joy comes hard work....
Wow this is a lot of work! It seems when the girls hit
two months old, our work load changed significantly.
Newborn stage is kinda over, and they are much more alert.
Days are crazy, but nights are actually pretty peaceful.
They are great night sleepers. Hallelujah!
Their dispositions have switched. Clara was originally our feisty baby and Bree our calm,
at around two months we noticed Bree has a little more fire in her and Clara is a little more peaceful.
We definitely have our hands full, but it is going fantastic.
We are so proud. I'm sure you can tell!
thought possible.

-She's our little runt but she loves to eat. Chugs every bottle like it's going to be her last.
-Tall and skinny. She is definitely her daddy's little girl.
-Has a sweet little stork mark on her forehead just like her mom did. It gets more red
when she is mad.
-Chubby cheeks and double chin are just starting to come through
-First one to smile at mom, best thing in the world
-Loves her bouncy chair and really loves her binky
-Pulls the funniest faces all day long. She still loves her tongue and always sticks it out at us.
-Super strong legs that have sure learned how to kick
(percentiles based off of premature babies)
-Clara is our little chubbster, we can't get enough of her chipmunk cheeks
-Good eater but doesn't get overly excited about it
-Two months came with a lot of baby acne for Clara. Oh how I hate baby acne! She has sensitive skin and we can't really put any product on her face or she breaks out.
-Sweet disposition and loves to cuddle but can still whip out that blood curdling scream when she is angry
-Has found her first favorite blankey. It's soft, it's pink, and she LOVES it!
-Loves to be held
-Perfect little heart shaped lips that we love to kiss
-First smile went to dad the day after Bree's first smile. That was a good week!!

Behind
I'm so behind on everything. Why? It pretty much goes without saying it is because of our sweet little ladies. I could sit and stare at them all day, and quite honestly I do. Life has never been sweeter.
