25 Weeks

Well, here we are at 25 weeks pregnant. It is crazy how quickly this pregnancy is going. Everyone always asks me if the time is miserably dragging and I just have to say "absolutely not". The time is flying by I can't even catch my breath. I love being pregnant and I feel fantastic. I have felt great pretty much the entire pregnancy without any complications which I am so grateful for. I have a good amount of energy and have been able to continue exercising, working full-time and doing my same old routine just as before I was pregnant. The babies are kicking me like crazy and there is absolutely nothing I love more than the feeling of that movement inside of me. The only thing I really crave is ice. This started a while ago and has not gone away. I probably bug everyone at work with my constant chomping away on ice, but I can't help that it tastes so good.

As far as growing...our baby girls are definitely growing!! I can't believe the change in the past month. I'm just waiting for the comments to start rolling in from strangers asking if I'm close to delivery. Below is the difference from week 21 to week 25! I can't even imagine how big the belly is going to be in a few months. Loving every second:)

December - 2010

I'm really behind on posting about our holidays, but I wanted to make sure I did because they were so great! Here are a few things that filled December 2010:

Every year, the Daytons do a family Christmas activity. This year we decided to keep it low key and go on a carriage ride at Thanksgiving Point to see the lights and go to dinner at The Smoking Apple. Here is the whole clan in front of our horse and carriage, it was perfect weather and we had a ton of fun.

I have never been to the MoTab Christmas concert, so this year when I heard David Archuleta was coming I was determined to get tickets. Ever since his season on American Idol my mom and I have loved him. We were so upset when I got an email saying I wasn't chosen for tickets, but Rick came home from work one night and surprised my mom and I with four! Thanks to my mother-in-law Camille for getting chosen for tickets and mailing them to us so we could go. Rick, myself, my mom and dad were the lucky four who got to go. We had a great time and the concert was AMAZING!

Instead of exchanging gifts this year, my family decided to do a Sub-for-Santa for a single mom of three little kids. We all got assignments and got to go shopping for these little children who needed presents much more than any of us did. Rick and I were assigned a 6 month old baby girl, which was so much fun because we are preparing for our little girls. It gave us good practice picking out cute, pink clothes. It was a neat experience for my family to do this and we felt such a special spirit the night we all got together to go deliver their Christmas to them. Here is the loot that we delivered, it is so fun to think that we made this Christmas a little better for this family.

My mom knows that my favorite part of Christmas morning is always the stockings. We spent Christmas in California, so a few nights before we left my mom surprised Rick and I with these two pink stockings for our little girls. They were filled with lotion, rattles and all sorts of goodies for the twins. It was so cute and thoughtful of her. She is REALLY excited to welcome these babies into the world and we appreciate all that she has done for us. Thanks Mom!

We had a ton of fun spending Christmas in California with Rick's family. We did a lot of relaxing, eating, talking, singing, sitting in front of the fire(my personal favorite) and the list goes on and on. Of course, one of the major highlights is spending time with our nephews Anthony and Ethan. I didn't do very good at taking pictures this Christmas, but 90% of the ones I took were of these two guys. We miss them so much since they moved from Orem to San Francisco a few months ago. It was nice to spend some time with them again and see their faces on Christmas morning.

Ever since we were married, I have heard so much about one of Rick's highschool friends named Marvin but I have never been able to meet him. Marvin played football for Rick's favorite college team Cal and went on to the NFL playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers. I always heard nothing but good things about him and how great his family was. While we were in California, we were able to spend an afternoon with Marvin and his sweet family for lunch at The Cheesecake Factory. It was great to finally get to meet him and spend time with one of Rick's good friends from highschool.

Well...that is that. Our Christmas 2010! It was a great one!
