The girls are four months old and getting more cute, more fun and more chunky every day.
Also they are getting to be more active, more demanding and much more work.
When they were newborns people would look at us with two babies and get the same crazy look in their eyes and say comments like, "how do you do it?" or "oh my gosh! I can't believe you have two! I couldn't do it."
We would kind of shrug it off and think, "it's not that hard".
I don't think we ever really understood or "got it" until recently.
Rick and I looked at each other the other night after a long night with the girls.
We both had bags under our eyes and looked at each other like, "uh huh, this is the hard work everyone was talking about."
These girls really are great babies.
But it is a given when you have two, things will get crazy.
We are more exhausted than we ever remember being, but are more in love than we ever thought possible.
Both girls are rolling from front to back, eating rice cereal and laughing.
They are also doing really well at playing with toys and looking at books.
They love watching Baby Einstein and listening to anything that plays music.
At 4 months, they took their first vacation to Idaho for a family reunion
then a few weeks later went on their second vacation to St George. They did great on the drive and slept almost the whole time whileon the road on both vacations.
Both wear 0-3 month clothes and still fit in newborn shoes!
Clara is very good with human interaction and will talk, smile and play while Bree is much more interested in studying her surroundings such as trees, the sky, lights and so forth.
They are so fun and we are loving seeing the differences in these two.

God definitely sent us two very different little angels.
-We can simply describe Bree in one word: sweet. She has the most precious little countenance and for the most part is easy going. She has her moments where she needs attention, but most of the time she is easily entertained and doesn't need much to keep her happy.
-She absolutely LOVES being outside. If she is ever a little upset, we go outside and she is instantly content as can be. She loves looking up and talking to the trees. She kicks her legs in excitement and can't contain herself. We love it.
-She has the sweetest cry. It isn't loud, just very quiet to let us know she is there and needs something.
-Always has her hands in her mouth
-Has been really hard to get to smile, but is finally figuring it out. The past few days she has been so smiley and we are soaking it all up!
-Her favorite thing right now is staring at the ceiling fan. She could stare at it all day.
-So easy to put to bed. If she isn't tired, she will lay there sucking her fingers or binky until she gets tired. Without a peep.
-I think Bree is going to be our little couch potato. She absolutely loves watching the TV and you cannot get her attention when the TV is in sight. Like father, like daughter. :)
-Miss Clara, she is our little attention seeker. She is the polar opposite of Bree in this category. She loves attention and demands it. Whether it be a cry, a smile, a giggle or talking she is determined to get all of the attention. If she sees Bree getting any attention she will do her best to get all eyes back on her. It is hilarious.
-She is a mover. She doesn't like to sit still and is moving all around in her crib. It is definitely time to have the girls in separate cribs.
-Has the absolute most shining smile and shows us all the time. She is the easiest smiler and it melts our heart.
-Talks talks talks. Oh my goodness this girl has found her voice. It is so sweet and feminine.
-Has the funnest personality. She is so fun to interact and play with. We love her so much.
-She has the funniest head of hair. There is an small amount on her, but she has about 6 extremely long hairs on the top of her head that stick up. It sometimes looks like she got electrocuted the way they go in all different directions. I'm praying she will give me more to work with so I can do piggy tails one day.
-Easily scared. It doesn't take much to spook this little one into a blood curdling scream. The latest thing to scare her half to death? Daddy's sneezes. It gets her every time!
-She is our slobbery little girl. She is always as wet as can be and blowing bubbles.
